In its first humanitarian campaign, Mercator helped to ensure financial means to centers and institutions for the protection and qualification of persons with special needs. Mercator donated equipment to seven institutions and centers across Slovenia, thus improving the quality of life for the wards. By sending regards and best wishes on post cards addressed to the wards, the wider public contributed to their morale as well.
